Maker’s Monday was created to celebrate and support the American makers and businesses who make their products in the towns, cities, and neighborhoods where we live.
As a locally-owned business with local vendors, Redeux embraces Maker’s Monday by hosting a workshop with one of our very own makers, Averie Clark of The Bee.
In the Tee Shirts + Jeans Workshop, you’ll get first-hand experience as a maker, upcycling a favorite tee shirt and reclaimed denim into a unique pillow for your home or a special gift. No sewing experience required.
You bring:
- required: a tee shirt (size medium-large will work best);
- suggested but not required: a pair of old jeans
We provide:
- pillow form, sewing equipment and supplies, and instruction
Class fee:
$35; make a second pillow for $25
Register by Monday, November 24
